For 40 years, LCV has been one of the nation's premier environmental organizations, employing sophisticated techniques to educate voters about the environmental records of Congressional and Presidential candidates, and helping to shape a pro-environment Congress. LCV publishes annually the National Environmental Scorecard, which provides objective factual information about the most important environmental legislation considered and the corresponding voting records of all members of Congress.
