Ed has been serving as the Senior Vice-President for State Capacity Building at LCV since the effective date of the Merger with LCV and the Federation on July 1, 2007. He is responsible for overseeing LCV newfound program area in building and maintaining a strong national network of state LCVs. Prior to the merger, Ed served six years as the Executive Director of the Federation of State Conservation Voter Leagues. Under his direction, the Federation added 17 new leagues and expanded its services to member state leagues to include an array of grants and training programs. Prior to managing the Federation, Ed served for seven years as the Executive Director of Washington Conservation Voters (WCV) and WEAVE. Ed graduated in 1977 from The Evergreen State College, in Olympia, Washington with a B.A. in Political Science, Economics and Public Administration.
