Navin oversees all aspects of LCV’s campaigns, including on global warming, elections and legislative accountability. In 2009-2010, Navin was the Deputy Campaign Manager at Clean Energy Works, an unprecedented national campaign developed to push for comprehensive federal energy and climate legislation. Navin joined LCV in 2006 to help develop the organization’s global warming program. In that role, he developed new partnerships with the Building and Construction Trades Department of AFL-CIO and Democracia USA, working to bring critical new voices into the national debate on energy and global warming. Educated as a biologist at McGill University, Navin has worked for several groups advocating for a clean energy economy that would benefit workers, consumers and the environment. Navin earned his Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University.
