Stephanie Kushner, Senior Vice President, Development

Stephanie joined LCV in October 2009.  Stephanie has 20 years of fundraising and non-profit management experience.  Prior to joining LCV, Stephanie served as Vice President of Development at NARAL Pro-Choice America where she directed a multi-faceted 501(c)(4), 501(c)(3), and PAC fundraising operation, including membership (direct mail, telemarketing, and internet), major gifts, special events, grants, planned giving, and workplace giving programs.  Over the past 10 years, she and her team raised over $215 million in support of NARAL’s efforts to protect and defend a woman’s right to choose.  Stephanie created NARAL’s major donor recognition program, the Justice Blackmun Society, and served as a spokesperson for the organization in reaching out to donors in support of NARAL’s work.  She received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington University in St. Louis, and a master’s degree in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University, Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.
