Washington, D.C. – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, which works to elect candidates who will support sound environmental policies, announced today its endorsement of Dr. Hiral Tipirneni for Congress in Arizona’s 6th Congressional District.

We can count on Dr. Tipirneni to be a strong clean energy champion in the U.S. House of Representatives and we are proud to endorse her campaign.”

If elected, I will fight every day to ensure all Arizonans have access to clean air, safe drinking water, and a healthy environment.”

Dr. Hiral Tipirneni is an emergency room doctor and cancer researcher who understands the health and safety consequences of pollution on our children and families. She understands that Arizona should be at the forefront of fighting climate change, by investing in clean energy initiatives, especially solar and wind power, which will help grow the economy. Tipirneni is a proven problem-solver and fresh voice, and her priorities in Congress include strengthening public health protections and incentivizing the transition to renewable energy.
