“The League of Conservation Voters applauds the 45 senators who voted against confirmation of Judge Neil Gorsuch to our nation’s highest court. The courts are the final arbiters of justice, ensuring that all people in this country are protected by our bedrock environmental safeguards as well as the civil rights that underpin our democracy. Gorsuch’s extreme views could have devastating consequences for the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the lands we cherish.”
