Senate : New Hampshire
- Brown has denied that “man-made climate change is scientifically proven,” and even his revised claim that climate change is “a combination of natural and manmade causes” does not fully reflect the science. When he served in the Senate, Brown voted to permanently block the EPA from reducing greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act.
- Brown has taken $490,610 in campaign contributions from the oil and gas industry over the course of his career, while repeatedly voting to protect billions of dollars in taxpayer-funded subsidies for oil companies. He even falsely claimed that “oil companies don’t get subsidies.”
- Brown has consistently opposed the wind production tax credit and other clean energy incentives that reduce pollution and support thousands of jobs.
