Senate : Michigan
- Land took thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from the oil billionaire Koch Brothers, and she’s sided with them by denying climate change science.
- Land blasted the EPA’s proposed Clean Power Plan as “an enormous regulatory attack on coal” that is part of President Obama’s “War on Michigan,” even though the plan would save lives, reduce asthma attacks, create jobs, and save billions of dollars annually in health costs.
- Land ran a campaign ad that attacked Rep. Gary Peters for supporting the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which included the largest investment in clean energy in U.S. history. Michigan received nearly $9 billion for clean energy and other projects during the depths of the recession.
