Time to Wake Up and Act on Climate Change

22 May 2014  |   By Hannah Blatt

Following the release of the National Climate Assessment, it’s more clear than ever that Congress needs to wake-up and tackle the climate crisis. Hundreds of people joined more than 30 members of Congress in DC yesterday to sound this alarm for climate action and push back against the extreme agenda of corporate polluters like the Koch Brothers and their allies in Congress. The event was led by the Senate Climate Action Task Force, the Bicameral Climate Change Task Force, the Safe Climate Caucus and the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition.
