The American Lung Association posted four billboards in House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton's (R-MI) district, calling on the Congressman to end his assault on public health by allowing the EPA to implement commonsense carbon pollution safeguards.

The advertisements, some in clear view of Rep. Upton's district offices, state "Rep. Fred Upton, protect our kids' health. Don't weaken the Clean Air Act."

Last week, the Energy and Commerce Committee approved Rep. Upton's H.R. 910, a bill that would block the EPA from protecting public health. The legislation will come to the House floor for debate and a vote in the coming weeks.
