The Climate Reality Project—a new initiative intended to raise awareness on the climate crisis—will kick-off this Wednesday evening, September 14 with its premier event, the 24 Hours of Reality.

The event, which features hour-long presentations in major cities in each of the world’s 24 time zones, will focus on raising awareness about the dire state of the climate.  The presentations will be live-streamed over the internet and will call on the global community to take specific action to combat climate change.

24 Hours of Reality will launch at 7 pm Central Time in Mexico City and end 24 hours later with a personal presentation by former vice president Al Gore in New York City.
