In the political battle for the Massachusetts seat in the U.S. Senate, there is a clear environmental candidate, and a clear Big Oil candidate. Need a hint? Sen. Scott Brown has accepted over $198,660 from oil and gas interests over the course of his career.
Today, the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund endorsed Elizabeth Warren for U.S. Senate as the only candidate who will work to build a clean energy economy, protect the health of American families, and fight to cut subsidies to dirty energy interests.
“I am honored to stand with the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund to promote sound environmental policies and work toward building a clean energy economy,” said Elizabeth Warren. “Our country cannot afford to continue subsidizing dirty energy sources like oil, gas, and coal. I am committed to fighting for policies that will not only make our economy more innovative, but will also protect our environment and the health of our communities.”
