You're probably already aware that 50 U.S. Senators recently voted to permanently prevent the EPA from setting limits on carbon pollution.
What you might not know is that Koch Industries, founded by the infamous Koch brothers, has contributed significant amounts of money to those Senators. In fact, Think Progress recently dug up $1.8 million worth of contributions from the company to those Senators over the course of their careers.
Why is Koch Industries working so hard to block the EPA from regulating carbon pollution? Quite possibly because they're one of the primary sources of carbon pollution in the United States.
