Op/Ed: LCV chief responds to Sen. Brown

04 Nov 2011  |   Mike Palamuso

LCV President Gene Karpinski has an op/ed running in the Lowell Sun responding to Sen. Scott Brown, who also recently published an op/ed in the Massachusetts paper.

Instead of working in Washington to protect the water we drink and air we breathe, Brown is voting again and again to let corporate polluters off the hook while accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars from these dirty-energy interests. We think it's time for Sen. Brown to take a good look at his voting record thus far, because endangering the health of Massachusetts families will not create jobs nor will poisoning our air and water jump-start the economy.

LCV is currently running a TV ad in the Boston media market that urges Senator Brown’s constituents to contact the Senator to tell him to support efforts to repeal subsidies to Big Oil.
