Twenty-One Legislators Sign On to Upton Anti-EPA Legislation

10 Mar 2011  |   Daniel Jacobs

Yesterday, House Energy and Commerce Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) announced that twenty-one additional Members of Congress had signed onto his anti-EPA bill, which aims to strip the agency from protecting our air against carbon pollution.

These twenty-one new co-sponsors increase the bill's total co-sponsors to thirty, up from the nine that initially signed on when Rep. Upton introduced the legislation last week.

Rep. Upton's bill moves forward this week, with mark up by the Energy and Power Subcommittee scheduled for tomorrow.
