LCV on Patty Murray’s Budget Proposal

WASHINGTON, DC – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) President Gene Karpinski released this statement in reaction to the release of Senate Budget Committee Chairman Patty Murray’s budget proposal today:   

“Paul Ryan should’ve taken a page from Patty Murray’s playbook. Chairman Murray has drafted a commonsense plan that recognizes the importance of the EPA to help fight climate change and land conservation programs that protect our open spaces.  Budgets are about priorities, and Patty Murray gets it right.”
