Washington, DC – The results of the New Hampshire Democratic primary, announced tonight, indicated a win for Ann McLane Kuster as the Democratic candidate for New Hampshire’s 2nd district.
LCV President Gene Karpinski released the following statement in response:
“We applaud Ann McLane Kuster’s victory in the New Hampshire Democratic primary. This victory brings Kuster one step closer to working in Congress to enact common-sense energy policies that create jobs in New Hampshire while ensuring that America leads the 21st century’s clean energy economy. We continue to support her run for New Hampshire’s 2nd district and look forward to the general election.”
LCV placed over 75,000 phone calls to persuade New Hampshire voters to support and turn out for Kuster in the primary. LCV Action Fund has endorsed Ann McLane Kuster for election to the U.S. House of Representatives representing New Hampshire’s 2nd district.
