PHILADELPHIA, PA - Today at the University of Pennsylvania, Vice President Joe Biden and members of President Obama's cabinet led a discussion on green jobs and how best to both create green jobs quickly and to use green jobs to permanently strengthen the middle class.

Asking smart questions of environmentalists, labor leaders, businesses and local governments, the Administration deepened its understanding and commitment to using clean energy and energy efficiency to help everyday Americans succeed.

"Our economy is sick, our environment ailing, and we need to find the shortest route to the help offered by clean energy," LCV spokesman Josh McNeil said.  "We thank Vice President Biden, his task force, and the Obama Administration for hosting this forum and giving voice to a diverse set of Americans who will help put us on the path to a clean energy future.”
