WASHINGTON, DC — Today, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, which works to elect candidates who will implement sound environmental policies, launched a new web video hitting Mark Kirk for flip-flopping on his previous support for comprehensive clean energy and climate legislation.

"The only thing consistent about Mark Kirk is his inconsistency. His flip-flopping on clean energy and climate policies has got every voter turned upside down and it's clear that he can't be trusted to represent Illinois families in the U.S. Senate," said Tony Massaro, LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President for Political Affairs.

Kirk voted for the American Clean Energy and Security Act in the U.S. House, but has since said that as Senator he would vote no on comprehensive clean energy and climate legislation.[1]
