LCV Statement on Inauguration of President Barack Obama
Responding to President Barack Obama's Inauguration and Inaugural Address, League of Conservation Voters President Gene Karpinski said:
"For the first time in history, a new President has used his Inaugural Address to summon the will of the American people to fight the challenge of global warming. LCV believes that the American people are ready and willing to fight that fight and that President Obama is the leader we need to win it."
