Corporate America, Rep. Pombo Has a Deal for You

House Resources Committee Chair Rep. Richard Pombo has again managed to outrage America with his penchant for breathtakingly bad environmental bills. First, he wanted to sell off our National Parks. Now, Rep. Pombo wants to sell off millions of acres of public lands.

This careless land-grab provision amounts to a fire-sale of valuable federal lands that could endanger hunting, fishing, and recreation on millions of acres. Citizens and their elected officials from across the West are aligning against Rep. Pombo's latest payback to mining and other corporate special interests. The links below show the growing opposition to his misguided plan.
