Office of Management and Budget

The Office of Management and Budget is the White House office responsible for creating the President's annual budget proposal to Congress. The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), a branch of OMB, significantly impacts environmental policy through its reviews of agency proposals to develop or revise Federal regulations and information requirements.
