Washington D.C. – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund congratulates U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan and U.S. Representatives Annie Kuster and Chris Pappas on their victories in their respective Democratic primary elections in New Hampshire.

“Congratulations to Senator Maggie Hassan and Representatives Annie Kuster and Chris Pappas on their well-deserved primary victories in New Hampshire,” said LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld. “All three are climate champions in Congress and we are proud to work with them in the fight for a clean energy future. Maggie Hassan, Annie Kuster and Chris Pappas tirelessly advocate for all communities and have voted for bold action on climate so that everyone can have clean drinking water and live free from toxic pollution in a healthy environment. They are the leaders we need who will stand up for people, not corporate polluters and their special interests. We look forward to victory in November.”

About LCV Action Fund

The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, the connected federal political action committee (PAC) of the League of Conservation Voters, works to elect leaders who stand up for a clean, healthy environment and to defeat anti-environment candidates who oppose climate action. Since the 1990 election cycle, LCVAF has helped elect and re-elect 95 U.S. Senators and 460 members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Over the last several years, our efforts have also helped elevate climate change and clean energy as critical issues in key elections.
