WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the EPA announced its proposed determination on the mid-term evaluation of the clean car and fuel efficiency standards, which will protect public health, combat climate change, reduce our dependence on oil and save consumers money. In response, LCV’s VP of Government Affairs Sara Chieffo released the following statement:

“Moving full speed ahead to clean up our cars is just plain commonsense. It is good for our pocketbooks, our health, and our climate. EPA’s announcement today confirms that the landmark 2025 clean cars standards are working and should be continued.”
