Chemicals

Scientific evidence continues to link chemical exposure to increasing rates of health problems, including asthma, certain types of cancer, infertility, learning disabilities, and neurological diseases, and the use of harmful pesticides is contributing to pollinator declines across the nation, threatening our food supply. LCV works to reduce exposure to toxic chemicals, which are prevalent in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and the products we use. We must reduce the use of and exposure to dangerous chemicals and protect those most vulnerable, including children, pregnant women, and low income and communities of color.
