Susie Lee has demonstrated a lifetime commitment to protecting her community and the environment and has worked to protect natural resources and public lands.
Lee began her career at an environmental consulting firm, where she worked on water management policy, toxic release monitoring, Clean Air Act compliance, and holding corporations accountable for environmental damages. She has been an advocate for preserving our country’s vast natural resources and public lands. Lee has worked to protect the Basin and Range National Monument and other natural treasures in Nevada, like the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. She is as a lifetime member of the Protectors of Tule Springs.
As a representative, she will work to combat climate change, conserve our natural resources, and hold polluters accountable. She will advocate for clean energy and fight to hold the Trump Administration accountable for its rollbacks to environmental protections.
Lee joins the U.S. House to fill the seat of Representative Jacky Rosen, who earned a 97% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard and has been elected to represent Nevada in the U.S. Senate.
In her own words:
“After I graduated from college, my first job was as an environmental consultant, handling water management, air quality, and other environmental issues. I have also been a strong advocate for conservation here in Nevada, and have a deep appreciation for the value of Nevada’s natural resources and public land.”
