LCV Launches Digital Campaign Highlighting Biden-Harris LNG Pause

Today, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) launched the latest wave in its digital campaign in support of the Biden administration’s pause on permitting for LNG export facilities. This campaign is a continuation of the $2 million campaign LCV announced in January in response to the Biden-Harris administration’s initial announcement.

In 1978, Lois Gibbs discovered that her neighborhood was built on a landfill with 20,000 tons of toxic chemical waste. Though she had no prior experience in activism, she led her community in a multi-year battle that ultimately led to federal action and passage of the Superfund law.
