Washington, D.C.– Today, LCV Victory Fund and Somos PAC announced a new ad program that includes Arizona’s Second District highlighting Republican Congressman Eli Crane’s votes to cut clean energy that raised rates across Arizona. The ads will be targeted to reach “Energy Bill Voters,” a key voting bloc hit particularly hard by energy price increases that LCV Victory Fund seeks to mobilize heading toward this November’s critical midterm election. This is the earliest LCV Victory Fund has ever invested in House races, highlighting the egregious votes Crane has taken and the impact it has had on voters in his district. The ads will launch on digital platforms this week.

At the same time, the number of voters blaming high energy costs on Trump and Congressional Republicans’ cancellation of clean energy projects has already risen 5% in the first half of 2026 alone.
Despite the popularity of both American clean energy resources and projects, the Trump Administration and Republicans like Rep. Crane have continued to roll back clean energy projects that help lower costs, grow good paying American jobs, and protect the health and safety of our communities. These rollbacks have cost 9,000 Arizona clean energy jobs and pulled more than $3.6 billion in private investment from the state. The pain of these choices is being felt across the state and LCV Victory Fund is ensuring that voters know exactly who is responsible.
