Members are the foundation of LCV’s work. Whether you are contacting your representatives to act on climate change or supporting us financially, becoming an LCV member connects you with millions of others across the country and shows your commitment to climate action every day. We are stronger when we work together.

For years, we have fought (and won!) against attempts to expand offshore drilling. More offshore leases will only lock us into decades more fossil fuel dependency and destruction. Despite that, the Biden Administration’s draft five-year plan for offshore oil drilling proposes as many as 11 potential offshore leases. New leases are a step backward in our climate fight. Now is the time: tell the Biden Administration that our waters are not for drilling.
To have a sustainable climate, voters must be able to freely and fairly choose representatives who prioritize environmental health and safety. Yet, more than 300 restrictive voting bills have been pre-filed or introduced in 45 states so far this year. Help protect voting rights and put an end to anti-voter legislation by telling Congress to pass the recently reintroduced Freedom to Vote Act today.
The ESA is facing unprecedented attacks that threaten some of our nation’s most important species. House Republicans' interior and environment appropriations bill includes provisions rescinding protections under the ESA for critical species. Tell your members of Congress we must protect endangered species and ensure a livable planet for us all.
Support our mission to fight climate change and protect our democracy. There are many ways to help power our movement with vital resources.
LCV’s annual National Environmental Scorecard tracks the voting records of all members of Congress on critical environmental, climate, environmental justice, and democracy legislation.
