Washington, D.C. — The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Senator Jack Reed on his win in Rhode Island.
“LCV is thrilled to congratulate Senator Jack Reed on his decisive victory in Rhode Island,” said LCV President Pete Maysmith. “Senator Reed has long stood up for environmental protections because they are critical to our economy, our security and our health. We are excited to continue to work with Senator Reed in the 120th Congress to fight back against the Trump administration’s attacks, to build a cleaner, healthier future, and to defend our democracy.”
Environmental donors contributed $44,000 to Rhode Island candidates via GiveGreen. GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund and NRDC Action Votes that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates — raised $28.8 million for the 2026 cycle.
Senator Reed is just one of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in Rhode Island, reaffirming that addressing the climate crisis and affordable clean energy solutions are winning issues for voters.
