Woodstock, NH – Today, President Biden spoke at an 82-year-old bridge in need of repair to highlight investments that will be made through the infrastructure bill he signed Monday. His speech will focus on the first piece of the President’s agenda: major investments in the country’s shipping, transportation, public transit, clean water, and electric vehicle infrastructure. Alongside his visit, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) will run a digital ad campaign in Woodstock and throughout New Hampshire urging the President and Congress to finish the job and pass the Build Back Better Act. This is Congress’ chance to pass bold climate action by investing in clean energy, high-quality union jobs, and environmental justice.

Welcome President Biden, we’re ready to get building.
“When I think climate change I think jobs.”
New Hampshire is ready to get to work, and we know you are too.
Thanks for fighting to pass the Build Back Better Act!

Polling continues to show wide support for President Biden’s build back better agenda. In a recent survey, Data for Progress found 63% support overall among New Hampshire voters for the American Jobs Plan, including 60% of independents. Support was even higher on specific issues covered under the plan like expanding clean energy investments (70%).
