Washington, D.C. – Today, the League of Conservation Voters, Climate Power, and Future Forward USA Action launched a new ad, “For You,” in their previously announced $10 million national campaign to educate people on the benefits of the just passed Inflation Reduction Act to their lives, especially how it lowers the costs of their energy bills and prescription drugs.

The explainer-style ad engages people in learning the ways that this new legislation will reduce costs: “Out of pocket costs for drugs will be capped, for seniors, insulin will be just $35, families will save $2,400 on healthcare premiums, [and] energy costs [come] down an average of $1,800 a year for families.”

The new ad will run on TV nationwide, including during CBS’ 60 Minutes this Sunday, as well as on digital streaming platforms.
