WASHINGTON, DC— The California League of Conservation Voters (CLCV) and the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, announced today their endorsement of Pete Aguilar for Congress (CA-31). Aguilar is committed to combating climate change and moving California and our nation towards the clean energy economy of the future. 

“As Mayor, Pete Aguilar stands up for the citizens of Redlands while fighting to reduce carbon emissions and increasing energy efficiency, and he will bring this same leadership to Congress,” said LCV Action Fund President Gene Karpinski. “He will fight for commonsense policies that will protect our environment by tackling climate change head on, and reduce our reliance on dirty fossil fuels by investing in America’s clean energy economy.”

As Mayor of Redlands, Aguilar has led the effort to adopt a sustainability plan that promotes energy efficiency, clean energy and conservation. In Congress, Aguilar will continue to tackle climate change and move America towards a clean energy economy, which will create good paying jobs in California and across the country.
