Washington, D.C. – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund congratulates Valerie Foushee on her win in the Democratic primary election for U.S. House in North Carolina’s 4th Congressional District.
“Congratulations to Valerie Foushee on her well-deserved primary victory in North Carolina, “said LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld. “It has never been more important to have leaders in Congress who will never stop fighting for climate action and the rights of all people in our country to drink clean water, breathe clean air, and live in a fair and just democracy. Valerie Foushee is that leader and we look forward to continuing this important work together in Congress.”
“We are thrilled to see Valerie Foushee win her primary in the 4th district and look forward to November,” said North Carolina League of Conservation Voters Director of Governmental Relations Dan Crawford. “She is a strong advocate for growing our clean energy economy to protect our communities and build a more sustainable future for all and we can’t wait to work with her once she’s elected to Congress.”
