WASHINGTON, DC—The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, which works to elect candidates who will implement sound environmental policies, announced today its endorsement of Dave Domina for U.S. Senate from Nebraska. Domina will work to grow America’s clean energy industries while decreasing our dependence on dirty fossil fuels.

“Dave Domina will work to protect our planet and natural resources for generations to come,” said LCV Action Fund President Gene Karpinski. “He will stand up to Big Oil by working to reduce our reliance on dirty fossil fuels while growing our clean energy and energy efficiency economy.”  

“Dave Domina is fighting for Nebraska in the courtroom, and if elected to the Senate, he will continue to stand up for the people by protecting our land and water,” said Eliot Bostar, Executive Director of the Nebraska League of Conservation Voters. “He will support bipartisan policies that grow Nebraska’s wind and solar industries, creating good paying jobs right here at home.”

“I am honored to be endorsed by the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund because Carol and I are proud owners and stewards of our land, and we are devoted to responsible agriculture.” said Domina. “We have stood firm — before starting and throughout our campaign — against TransCanada’s Keystone XL pipeline which threatens Nebraska landowners and the environment. The change must be made from fossil fuel tax subsidies to growth of clean renewable energy, and I will continue to do all I can to propel this change.”

Domina is a fierce advocate for the protection of our environment and natural resources. He is standing up for landowners affected by the all-risk, no-reward Keystone XL Pipeline in the Nebraska Supreme Court because he recognizes that the pipeline will jeopardize the state’s ranches, farm land and freshwater sources. Domina also supports investing in energy efficiency and clean energy industries, which will reduce our dependence on dirty fossil fuels while creating good paying jobs.
