Washington, D.C. – In anticipation of Hillary Clinton accepting the Democratic nomination for President of the United States, LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld issued the following statement:

“In selecting Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party chose as their nominee for president a climate champion who will fight for a sustainable, just future. The choice facing voters this November could not be starker, and the stakes could not be higher. Our communities deserve a President who will prioritize clean air, clean water and access to open spaces no matter what your zip code is. We need a President who will tackle climate change head on and ensure America leads the transition to clean energy, creating good-paying jobs for all while protecting our health and our planet at the same time.”
