Washington, D.C. – Today U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders announced his endorsement of Hillary Clinton for president. LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld issued the following statement:

“We congratulate Senator Sanders on a hard-fought race, we thank him for his leadership in confronting the climate crisis, and we are thrilled that he has endorsed Hillary Clinton.  It’s time to come together to win the general election, and we are so pleased that Senator Sanders is doing just that.
