Washington, D.C. – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Dina Titus (NV-01), Susie Lee (NV-03) and Steven Horsford (NV-04) on their victories in Nevada.
“LCV is thrilled that Nevadans have chosen to re-elect Susie Lee, Steven Horsford, and Dina Titus,” said LCV President Gene Karpinski. “These three environmental champions will continue to lead the Silver State to a clean energy future and we are excited to continue working with them in Congress.”
LCV’s GreenRoots member mobilization program turned out LCV members to volunteer with the Biden, Lee and Horsford campaigns as part of a nationwide field program to help elect environmental champions that engaged nearly 2,600 LCV members.
Environmental donors contributed over $160,000 to Nevada candidates via GiveGreen. GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund, NextGen America and the NRDC Action Fund PAC that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates — raised a record $43 million for the 2020 cycle.
LCV Action Fund endorsed Titus, Lee and Horsford because of their commitments to renewable energy and climate action.
These are just some of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot, demonstrating that leaning into environmental issues is both good policy and good politics.
