Washington, D.C.– The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Representatives Dwight Evans (PA-03), Madeleine Dean (PA-04), Summer Lee (PA-12), and Chris Deluzio (PA-17) on their victories in Pennsylvania. We look forward to working together in the 119th Congress and beyond to continue making progress on addressing the climate crisis and protecting our democracy.

“From the very beginning we knew how important Pennsylvania would be,” said LCV President Gene Karpinski. “Our endorsed candidates in Pennsylvania have led the way to pass crucial funding for health issues like lead pipe removal and commonsense environmental wins like capping old and abandoned oil wells. We need their voices in Congress and Pennsylvania communities are more secure with them as their representatives.”

GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund and NRDC Action Votes that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates including in Pennsylvania — raised a record $58.5 million for the 2024 cycle.

These are just some of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in Pennsylvania, demonstrating that leaning into environmental issues is both good policy and good politics.
