Washington, D.C. — The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Representatives Johnny Olszewski (MD-02), Sarah Elfreth (MD-03), April McClain Delaney (MD-06), Kweisi Mfume (MD-07), Jaime Raskin (MD-08) and Representative-elect Adrian Boafo (MD-05) on their wins in Maryland.
“LCV is thrilled to congratulate this incredible group of climate champions on their wins in Maryland!” said LCV President Pete Maysmith. “Marylanders spoke loud and clear: they want representatives in Congress who will stand up for climate action, investments in clean energy, and cleaner air and water for our communities. We look forward to continuing to work with each of these members to advance strong climate action across the country.”
Environmental donors contributed $64,000 to Maryland candidates via GiveGreen. GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund and NRDC Action Votes that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates — raised $28.8 million for the 2026 cycle.
These are just some of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in Maryland, reaffirming that addressing the climate crisis and affordable clean energy solutions are winning issues for voters.
