LCV Congratulates Representative Becca Balint in Vermont

Washington, D.C. — The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Representative Becca Balint (VT-AL) on her win in Vermont.

“Congratulations to Representative Becca Balint on her victory in Vermont,” said LCV President Pete Maysmith. “Representative Balint has been a fierce advocate for climate action and environmental protections throughout her career, and Vermonters can count on her to continue fighting for clean air and water, affordable clean energy, and healthy communities. We look forward to continuing to work alongside Representative Balint to hold the corrupt Trump administration and Big Polluters accountable, protect Vermont’s environment, and build a cleaner and more resilient future and democracy.”

Environmental donors contributed $11,000 on Vermont candidates via GiveGreen. GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund and NRDC Action Votes that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates — raised $28.8 million for the 2026 cycle.

Representative Balint is just one of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in Vermont, reaffirming that addressing the climate crisis and affordable clean energy solutions are winning issues for voters.
