LCV Congratulates Representative-elect Ben McAdams in Utah

Washington, D.C. — The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Representative-elect Ben McAdams (UT-01) on his win in Utah.

“Congratulations to Ben McAdams on his victory,” said LCV President Pete Maysmith. “As the Great Salt Lake is under threat and Utah families are struggling with rising energy costs, McAdams’s leadership is needed more than ever in Congress. We are thrilled to work with McAdams to protect Utah’s public lands, advance affordable clean energy solutions, and uphold our democracy.”

Environmental donors contributed $31,000 to Utah candidates via GiveGreen. GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund and NRDC Action Votes that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates — raised $28.8 million for the 2026 cycle.

Representative-elect Ben McAdams is just one of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in Utah, reaffirming that addressing the climate crisis and affordable clean energy solutions are winning issues for voters.
