Washington, D.C.– The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Senator Amy Klobuchar, Representative Angie Craig (MN-02), and Representative-elect Kelly Morrison (MN-03) on their wins in Minnesota. We look forward to working together in the 119th Congress and beyond to continue making progress on addressing the climate crisis and protecting our democracy.

“Minnesota has made incredible progress at the local level to transition to clean energy,” said LCV President Gene Karpinski. “Tonight’s results show that Minnesotans are ready to continue that transition that not only builds a clean energy economy, but also protects our lands, air, and waters– including the Great Lakes.” 

These are just some of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in Minnesota, demonstrating that leaning into environmental issues is both good policy and good politics.
