Washington, D.C. — The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Senator Ed Markey, Representative Katherine Clark (MA-05), and Representative-elect Dan Koh (MA-06) on their wins in Massachusetts.
“LCV is thrilled to congratulate Senator Ed Markey, Representative Katherine Clark, and Representative-elect Dan Koh on their victories in Massachusetts,” said LCV President Pete Maysmith. “We are particularly pleased to welcome Dan Koh, who is the first Asian American to represent Massachusetts in Congress. These members are committed climate and clean energy champions who have consistently been on the frontlines of climate action and the clean energy transition. As we look to advance a clean energy future in Massachusetts and across the country, we can count on them to work to protect people and the planet and hold this corrupt administration and Big Polluters accountable. LCV is excited to work alongside these dedicated champions in this fight.”
Environmental donors contributed $187,000 to Massachusetts candidates via GiveGreen. GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund and NRDC Action Votes that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates — raised $28.8 million for the 2026 cycle.
These are just some of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in Massachusetts, reaffirming that addressing the climate crisis and affordable clean energy solutions are winning issues for voters.
