Washington, D.C. — The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Senator-Elect Adam Hamilton on his win in Kansas.
“Congratulations to Senator-elect Adam Hamilton on his hard-fought win in Kansas,” said LCV President Pete Maysmith. “People across Kansas are experiencing first hand the impacts of extreme weather on communities and clean energy and climate-smart agriculture provide critical opportunities to lower costs and protect jobs while addressing the climate crisis. We look forward to working with Senator-elect Adam Hamilton to protect our air and water for future generations.”
Environmental donors contributed $188,000 to Kansas candidates via GiveGreen. GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund and NRDC Action Votes that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates — raised $28.8 million for the 2026 cycle.
These are just some of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in Kansas, reaffirming that addressing the climate crisis and affordable clean energy solutions are winning issues for voters.
