Washington, D.C. — The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Senator-elect Chris Pappas, Representative Maggie Goodlander (NH-02), and Representative-elect Stefany Shaheen (NH-01) on their wins in New Hampshire.

“We couldn’t be more excited to congratulate this slate of climate leaders who will safeguard protections for our communities, hold Big Polluters accountable, and fight for free and fair elections,” said LCV President Pete Maysmith. “Senator-elect Chris Pappas, Representative Maggie Goodlander, and Representative-elect Stefany Shaheen are strong leaders who will help protect our air and water and build a clean energy future for Granite Staters.”

LCV Victory Fund invested nearly $1.4 million to defeat John Sununu and elect Chris Pappas. The spending included digital ads about John Sununu’s history working for Big Pharma and Big Oil lobbyists and highlighting how corporate interests are spending millions to help re-elect him to the Senate (Making Millions) and a 7-piece direct mail program calling out Sununu’s support for Trump’s healthcare cuts, tariffs, and the Iran War, which is driving up the price of gas and heating oil.

LCV Victory Fund also invested over $1 million to elect Stefany Shaheen between the primary and general election. Spending in this race included cable TV and radio ads during the primary and digital ads focused on DiLorenzo’s ties to Trump and his support of the Republican Tax Law, which drove up health care costs for Granite Staters and the Iran War, which has skyrocketed gas and energy prices.

LCV’s GreenRoots member mobilization program turned out LCV members to volunteer for the Chris Pappas, Maggie Goodlander, and Stefany Shaheen campaigns as part of a nationwide field program to help elect environmental champions that drove over 32,500 volunteer shifts that turned out voters through 1,200,000 door knocks, phone calls, and letters.

Environmental donors contributed $604,000 to New Hampshire candidates via GiveGreen. GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund and NRDC Action Votes that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates — raised $28.8 million for the 2026 cycle.

These are just some of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in New Hampshire, reaffirming that addressing the climate crisis and affordable clean energy solutions are winning issues for voters.
