Washington, D.C.– The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) congratulates Senator Mazie Hirono and Representatives Ed Case (HI-01) and Jill Tokuda (HI-02) on their wins in Hawaii. We look forward to working together in the 119th Congress and beyond to continue making progress on addressing the climate crisis and protecting our democracy.

“Hawaii has been a leader in fighting the climate crisis and tonight voters across the state continued that legacy by reelecting these incredible champions,” said LCV President Gene Karpinski. “We look forward to continuing our work together to ensure a sustainable future for communities across Hawaii and the country.” 

These are just some of the climate champions who won up and down the ballot in Hawaii, demonstrating that leaning into environmental issues is both good policy and good politics.
