Washington, DC — In response to the release of new bipartisan legislation fully and permanently funding the Land and Water Conservation Fund and addressing the national parks’ maintenance backlog, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) released the following statement from Conservation Program Director Alex Taurel:

“It is long past time to fully and permanently fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund.  We’re glad that there is bipartisan momentum behind this new legislation. Let’s get the job done.”
