TUCSON — With gas and energy prices skyrocketing, Honest Arizona and the League of Conservation Voters launched a six figure ad campaign featuring a new ad today to hold Congressman Juan Ciscomani accountable for his vote for the Republican Tax Law, also known as the “Big Ugly Bill,” and the War in Iran that directly caused prices to increase and urging Congressman Ciscomani to lower costs.
The Republican Tax Law cut initiatives that lowered energy costs enacted in 2022, and the war in Iran, that Ciscomani also voted for, is causing a global energy crisis forcing prices at the pump skyrocketing. Gas prices in Arizona were projected to drop to $3 a gallon earlier this year, but right now prices are nearing $5 a gallon statewide.
The ad script reads:
Think about this:
gas prices are rising and inflation is ticking up and up,
but Juan Ciscomani still voted to do the following:
increase your utility bill by more than $200 a year, cut clean energy production.
He even voted to raise your gas prices. Yes, he really did.
And you can learn more here.
And after all that, he supported blank checks for a foreign war, billions for bombs, higher prices for you at home.
Call Congressman Ciscomani and tell him to stop raising costs.
The ad, which is playing across multiple platforms in the Tucson media market, is available online HERE.
