Representative Bob Latta (OH-5) has stated that the IRA promotes “anti-American energy policies” and “put[s] China ahead of U.S. workers.” And yet, the legislation is responsible for bringing a First Solar manufacturing facility to his district, a company Latta says we need to support so they can “compete against China, which uses forced and slave labor in their solar manufacturing industry to undercut American companies.” Latta supported the announcement and called the new solar manufacturing facility “great news for #OH5!”, and we couldn’t agree more.
